Version 2024

We have received feedback from you throughout 2023. This feedback has been collected and a lot of improvements have been made in the new version. The 2024 version will also contain new data related to tides and adjustments to VHF channels and phone numbers.

Of course, as always, we have an updated set of charts that you will receive during the initial installation. Further updates will be distributed throughout the year via the online updater, as has been the case in the past two years. The PC Navigo PRO update entitles you to daily chart updates and telephone support provided by parent company Periskal for the entire year.

Inland ECDIS 2.4

From June 19, 2024, an Inland ECDIS system in information mode in Germany will have to comply with the Inland ECDIS 2.4 standard. Customers sailing on German waterways will from then on be required to use the 2024 version. More specifically, a software version that supports the latest new standard with the latest available chart package. From then on, older versions will no longer be allowed and will no longer be supported by us.

Release

The 2024.0.0.0 version released today and is available in our webshop. The website will be unavailable until all necessary changes are made.

The update prices will remain unchanged.

Support

This year, for the first time, we have split our support into a standard and professional version. This makes it possible to sell updates at an acceptable price and to offer a faster response time and immediate telephone support for those who wish. All customers are helped as quickly as possible in their language by e-mail and/or by appointment. In our opinion, support has gone smoothly this year and we will continue in this way.
